Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Build Automate Grow, LLC ("BAG," "we," "us") is a Wyoming limited liability company — the independent studio of Philip Matthews, Member — operating from Wheatland, Wyoming. This policy covers the website at buildautomategrow.com. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, email address or phone number, and the contents of your message. We keep that correspondence so we can respond and maintain a record of our conversations.

Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs. For each request these record:

• your IP address
• the date and time of the request
• the page or file requested
• your browser's user-agent string and, when supplied, the referring page

We use these logs only to operate the site securely — diagnosing errors, investigating abuse, and understanding load. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not combined with any other data source.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people actually read. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, and does not fingerprint you or track you across sites or over time. It reports aggregates — page views, referring sites, browser, and country — not profiles of individuals, and it gives us no way to identify you.

To do this, a small script loads from Cloudflare on each page. As with any web request, Cloudflare receives your IP address in order to serve that script; Cloudflare states it does not use it to identify or track visitors. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. If you block scripts or use a tracker blocker, the site works exactly the same — you simply won't be counted.

What we deliberately do not do

• No cookies. This site sets none.
• No cross-site or behavioral tracking. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording, and nothing that follows you to other sites. See "Analytics" below for the one measurement tool we do use.
• No advertising or retargeting of any kind.
• No forms. There is nothing on this site that submits data to us.
• No account system, and therefore no passwords or stored profiles.
• No browser storage. We use neither localStorage nor sessionStorage.

3. Third-party services

This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser fetches a font, Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. We have no control over, and receive nothing from, that exchange. See Google's Privacy Policy and their Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

This site also loads the Cloudflare Web Analytics script described in Section 2 (static.cloudflareinsights.com). Cloudflare acts as our service provider for that measurement.

Those two — Google Fonts and Cloudflare Web Analytics — are the only third-party resources this site loads. There are no other scripts, embeds, advertising tags, or trackers.

4. Hosting

The site is hosted on a server we operate in the United States. Server logs described in Section 2 reside there. If we later place the site behind a content delivery network or security proxy, that provider will process request data on our behalf and we will update this policy accordingly.

5. How we use information

We use what we collect only to:

• respond to your enquiry and provide services you ask for
• operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website
• meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us operate (for example, our email provider), and only as needed for them to perform that function
• where required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process
• to protect the rights, safety, or property of BAG, our clients, or the public
• with your direction or consent

7. Data retention

Server logs are retained on a short rolling basis for security and troubleshooting, then overwritten. Email correspondence and client records are kept for as long as needed for the working relationship and for any period required by law. You may ask us to delete correspondence at any time; see Section 9.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with modern TLS, and we apply standard hardening to the systems we operate. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but because this site collects so little, there is very little about you here to expose.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Residents of California, and individuals in the EU/UK, may have specific statutory rights under the CCPA/CPRA and the GDPR respectively.

To exercise any of these, email phil@buildautomategrow.com. We will respond within the time frame the applicable law requires. We may need to verify your identity first.

Because we run no advertising or analytics, there is no cross-site tracking to opt out of. We honor Global Privacy Control signals by default, in the sense that we do not engage in the activity such signals restrict.

10. Children's privacy

This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

Our work and portfolio pages link to third-party websites, including projects we no longer operate or maintain. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Their policies govern once you leave ours.

12. Client engagements

If we perform services for you, the handling of data within that engagement — including any data on systems we build, host, or maintain for you — is governed by the written agreement between us, not by this policy. Where we process data on your behalf, we act on your instructions as your service provider.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be made conspicuous on this page.
